In addition to my own studio practice as seen in the gallery, I value opportunities to work with other people's personal material to construct works of art that have particular meaning for those individuals.
I was recently commissioned to create mixed media paintings using a photograph of my client taken on her wedding day over thirty years ago. She asked me to incorporate a piece of music and a prayer chosen by her and her husband for their wedding. This was a surprise present for her husband for a special anniversary.
